YMCA Annual Support Campaign
Volunteer Tool Box

Here are some tools to help you:
- County Map of Programs- Description of programs offered by the SLO Co. YMCA
- Try The Y Pass - Free 2-Week Pass To Try The YMCA's San Luis Obispo Fitness Facility
The YMCA is the largest provider of family health, youth sports, summer camp and licensed child-care in San Luis Obispo County. Many of these programs would not be possible were in not for donations and volunteer efforts from supporters like you.
If you need anything that hasn't been provided to you, you can't get here, or if you need support or have questions, please contact Jenifer Rhynes at jrhynes@sloymca.org or (805) 543-8235 x102.

Bigger & Brighter Dreams:
Your Support Is Needed To Realize These Dreams
$14,000 will realize the dream of providing a comprehensive South County gymnastics program for a full year.
$5,400 will provide after-school enrichment programs for Cambria elementary students throughout the school year. Funds are needed to leverage an additional $67,000 grant.
$3,200 will leverage a $40,000 matching grant to provide an after-school enrichment program for Carrisa Plains elementary students.
Examples of other core programs needing financial support in the coming year include:
- A vocational education program for teens in South County, offering job shadowing, skills training and hiring assistance.
- Expanded North County teen programs, especially in Atascadero, Shandon and San Miiguel.
- Added evening activities for families in San Luis Obispo, including dancing, family fun and movie nights.
- Partnerships with local government and community organizations for expanded youth sports, such as flag football and futsal (indoor soccer).
- Engaging more active older adults in health and wellness programs to build strength, agility and activity for daily living skills.
