Supporting the youth of Cambria is what this golf tournament is all about. Since its inception eight years ago, this has been a volunteer-driven event, with proceeds benefiting Cambria teens through the support of a teen community center. The tradition continues with this year's tournament, in partnership with the
San Luis Obispo County YMCA - which now operates and coordinates programming for the Cambria Teen Center. Our look
may be a bit different, but the volunteers and heart of this event
are still about helping kids in Cambria. Please join us in building
strong kids for our community.
About This Tournament:
Open to a select group of just 86 golfers, this tournament offers "birdies and bogies" at every hole. The tournament will take place at the scenic Morro Bay Golf Course, the number one "must play" course on the Central Coast. Golfers may enter individually or in four-person teams. Offered as a four person "scramble" with a shotgun start, the tournament includes:
- Cash prizes for first and second place teams
- $25,000 putting contest
- First "Hole-In-One" on a Par 3 wins a fabulous vacation trip
- Raffle for Golf Equipment and valuable gift certificates
- Lunch with a delicious buffet provided by Catering Unlimited
- Snacks and sodas

Shotgun Start Time: 8:30 am

YMCA Cambria Teen Center
The YMCA offers a drop-in After-school Teen Center for ANY Coast Union Unified School District Student. The focus is on ages 12-18, but all are welcome, including on the weekends. The program consists of: Teen Center activities, homework tutoring, character development; library use, community projects, games and much more. The Center has been so popular since re-opening in 2006 that additional funds are needed to expand hours of operation and accommodate more children. The YMCA’s staff are all professionally trained and certified in basic and pediatric CPR and First Aid. Additionally each undergoes a background fingerprint check through the advanced state Livescan system. The Teen Center is located at 870 Main Street.

There are several planned ways to maximize the exposure of our sponsor’s name or image.
Television and Website: Logo and name recognition is offered to sponsors, depending on supporting levels. Premier sponsor will have exclusive logo recognition.
Event Literature: Event literature/registration information in area golf shops, local merchants and distributed to prior participants, and posted for download on website.
Event Club House: The Premier Sponsor banner will be placed in this area if provided prior to event*. All event sponsor participation will be mentioned at this time.
Tee and Greens: Sponsor signage will be placed at each tee and green. Exclusive tee or green sponsorship is available.
Website: The tournament website, www.sloymca.org/golf.html will include a list of our supporting sponsors and raffle prizes.
In-Kind: An in-kind donation will positively affect our ability to reach the 2007 goal. Direct contributions are also encouraged.
Register: You can register in any of three ways:
- Register Online Online registration requires an additional surcharge of 6.5% plus $1. Please see other registration options below.
- Download & Fax or Mail Your Registration Form (Must be Received By Sept. 7th)
- Register The Day Of The Event Registration will be taken beginning at 6:30 am on the day of the tournament, provided there is space available. Space is limited to 86 golfers, so Day-of-Event registration cannot be guaranteed, nor can availability of Golf Shirt and Luncheon. You can call the evening before the event to check availability, at 927-8056. Check-in will begin at 6:30 am.

- From Cambria on Highway 1: Take the exit toward Los Osos/Baywood Park. Turn left onto South Bay Blvd. At 7/10ths of a mile, turn slightly right at State Park Road. And then take your first right up the hill on Park View Drive. The club house will be on your right after you crest the hill.
