The Turkey Trot is a great 5k race or walk, in beautiful San Luis Obispo.
One aid station will be present on the course. The event begins at the San Luis Obispo County YMCA facility in San Luis Obispo at 1020 Southwood Drive. Prizes will be awarded to the three top male and female finishers. It is sure to
provide a trotting good time for the whole family.
Walkers are welcome.
Price:
$20.00 YMCA Members
$22 Non-Members
Check-In and race day registration begins at 8 AM.
Award ceremony will begin at 10:00 am.

Funds raised through the event will support YMCA
youth development, sports and fitness programs
throughout San Luis Obispo County.
2008 Turkey Trot Race Goal
We hope that this race will raise $2,000 to support the
community building programs of the San Luis Obispo County YMCA
. Your support can help us reach that goal.

Register: You can register in any of three ways:
 Online registration requires an additional surcharge of $3. Please see other registration options below.
- Download & Fax or Mail Your Registration Form (Must be Received By October 31, 2008)
- Register The Day Of The Event Registration will be taken beginning at 8 am on the day of the race. Day-of-Event registration cannot guaranteed availability of Race Shirt and goodies. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am.
Cost per runner or walker: $20 YMCA Members
$22 Non-Members
What is provided to the runners and walkers:
- Race Shirt
- Delicious Continental Breakfast
- Post Race Snacks and Water
- Raffle Prizes
- Awards for the top three male and female finishers in each race
Sponsorship Exposure Opportunities -
There are several planned ways to maximize the exposure of our sponsor’s name or image.
Event Literature: Event literature/registration information in local shops, distributed to YMCA members and prior race participants, YMCA Newsletter and posted for download on website.
Event Signage: Gold Sponsors will receive signage at check-in and post-event award ceremony
Website: The event website, www.sloymca.org/turkeytrot.htm will include a list of our supporting sponsors and raffle prizes.
In-Kind: An in-kind donation will positively affect our ability
to reach our goal. Direct contributions are also encouraged.
